its true they do. when i was stationed in belgium tho. Those pita stands/shops had the best dam Durams ive ever eaten. i would easily move to germany/belgium solely for those!

You hit it on the nail. In the UK its a beef burger as its made of beefGermans make theirs of Ham so its a hamburger. Fries for example are French. Hence French Fries lol I think the concept actually came from Belgium though.
I don't see what Beef Wellington has to do with any of this
