Playing on an old tube tv grants me the power to not be able to read most things on the screen, so no, I don't even know who is around when I play.

I just upgraded a month ago. I feel your pain. Developers like to assume that everyone has the latest and greatest. It's quite a problem for those that don't.

I'm ready for this change. As it is, I get a kick out of just shooting at people or throwing bombs at them when you're bored and hanging out near a vendor somewhere. If there is no real penalty, I'll duel all the time out of boredom.

Especially now that the update nurfs the hell out of infectors. ;oD

A tube tv is a tv set that runs with vacuum tubes inside of it instead of transistors, integrated circuits, or micro chips. It's the original TV technology, and frankly, in a lot of ways, it's crazy cool stuff to see work. Granted.. don't grab the tubes when their glowing..lol

THis style of TV however, hasn't been made since like the early or mid 70's.. once silicon and transistors came into full swing and mass production, the vacuum tube was instantly an antique.

When I was a kid watching Sesame Street, at the beginning when the theme music played all the kids and Barkely would run behind a tree and disappear. I would put my head up into the corner of the TV to try and see where they went. I had no idea about spacial dynamics or tube technology. I was four.

So.. as we've all been waiting for.. the first DLC comes out today. And part of that lovely DLC, is the ability to challenge another player, anywhere in world, to a bit of friendly PvP.. a little 1v1 mano-ehh-mano shootout at the OK Corral type dealie..

So, other than me.. does anyone else have a list of names that just deserve a good old fashioned fragging in game? Anyone else excited for this nifty little feature to go live in a few hours so we can dispense some good old digital justice, payback, or just pure nasty evil vendetta riddled butt-kickery?

Eh, not in the slightest. I don't do 1-1 duels in any MMO. I typically set it to auto-decline duels, and move on. Hopefully, such a decline feature is present with the DLC (I forgot to check on Test), or the constant requests will get annoying damned fast.
