A while back one of the devs said that a "season" of DLC would be less than 1 year but more than 3 months so I bet we don't get DLC until the "more than 3 months" after launch. I could be wrong though.
The fastest DLC I have seen on a game was 2 months after the release. Which was a xbox game. Just hoping its not right off the bat lol
well according to the terms and conditions you can start with a new alien race in the season pass, so I am assuming (which is my hubris) that the dlc/season pass is immediately available.

There has not been anything said by devs to this affect, but I have a feeling that the new race thing was added to the DLC load just because of player outcry for it. I've been on these forums since late Jan. and never once did the devs allude to another playable race until a bunch of forum-users started making countless threads and posts about the game not having enough choices in character creation. From what all I've heard devs and reps say about the game over this time, I truly doubt that we would have Day 1 DLC. If I remember right in the last couple of weeks they even said that they haven't even started working on DLC yet. That is set to begin once launch is over.

Getting a season pass won't give the DLC at launch :L
It's just hinting at what is to come, guessing by how the game will work in sync with the show I reckon the DLC will be released in longer periods. It might even be like BF3's DLC-timeline.
My memory could be fuzzy but didn't Borderlands 2 DLC come out in 1-2 months after release? :|
And man, back in my day, MMORPG updates were free! These better be quality "DLC's."
