Update on the NA PS3 Server

8/21/13 - 7:00 PM - The latest round of timeout errors on the NA PS3 platform has been resolved. The team will continue to monitor the situation overnight so that we can rapidly respond should i happen again.

8/21/13 - 4:00 PM - At this time, we have resolved the timeout errors. If you start to encounter that issue again, please do report it here in this thread, and we will immediately look into it.

Sony America is still looking into why the US PS3 version of the Castithan Charge Pack is experiencing issues on the back end.

8/21/13 - 2:01 PM - We are aware of the fact that some PS3 players are receiving timeout errors and/or are being kicked from the game, and continue to investigate this issue. As soon as we get more information, we will share it.


8/21/13 - 1:37 PM - We have heard back from Sony America and they are working to fix the issue with Defiance - once we hear more from them, I'll relay it to you!


8/21/13 - 9:45 AM PST We are back in the office, and continue to look into this matter for our NA PS3 users. I will update you as soon as I get more information.


8/20/13 - 6:00 PM PST At this time, the NA PS3 servers are up and open for players, with the situation described below.

Hey guys,

At this time, we are unlocking the servers for NA PS3. However, we are still experiencing a backend complication with the DLC and the PlayStation Store and are waiting to hear back from the PlayStation team to confirm and fix the problem. Our ETA on getting that response is tomorrow, so for tonight all paid Castithan Charge Pack content will be temporarily unavailable. In addition, users will not be able to purchase the DLC from the Playstation Store, as we have temporarily disabled the ability to do so - the last thing we want is for people to spend $9.99 and receive nothing.

All free content will be available to play as soon as we come back up, such as the Dark Matter arkfalls and Volge sieges.

Thanks - and if we hear anything sooner tonight we will of course let you know.

So any info when we should to attempt to log back back in ? because seems your team is monitoring it and should be on it right about now since many are timing out again.

When I was on, after trying to log back in for an hour, I couldn't pull up anyone on my friends list nor could I find a player. Also, the clan I was in was showing no members. So now when we can get on, there are more glitches wtf? BTW, I timed out again and can't get back on now.

Time out... cant get on 3 straight days, come home from work cant play (resorts to play ****ty call of duty) so time passes by... still not working.. the hell man fix it >: O lol.

Having the: Critical- Timeout to servers error. I bought this game last night and haven't been able to log on to it once without some issue server side.. Come on..

2:10am eastern time till now back to being timed out.

Timed out if anyone is out there... Timeout issues haven't been fixed for more than 1 hr at a time. Tried making support ticket , but for some reason there's no option for timeout issues (shockingly)

Getting time out errors, tried multiple times, quit all the way to PS3 main menu before trying again.
