I used to play Rift. It's pretty good, pretty solid. Didn't have the instability issues this game has.

I'd play FFXIV but I really just don't care to pay for sub.

The $150 dollars I wasted on my Ultimate Edition is one of the biggest lessons I have ever learned. I fell for the hype, did the pre-launch missions, participated in the beta and gave feedback for every quest I did and every bug I found. I played relentlessly for weeks after launch, even got a few of my friends to give the game a try.

I defended Trion for early problems stating they deserve credit for taking on such an incredible project and the first cross-media game. I was patient.

I watched the show, and completed the tie in missions.

But I can't make excuses any longer. I haven't played in weeks and I am not logging back in until all the DLC mess I have been reading about is fixed.

And I have FF XIV pre-ordered so Trion is running out of time to fix this game.

I really enjoyed playing Phase 3 and Phase 4 of the FF XIV Beta. After seeing how well done the beta was I actually wouldn't mind forking over $13 a month. Yoshi-P and his team really seem dedicated to making a great game for people to enjoy. I just wish the full game wasn't coming out 3 weeks before GTA V. If I get XIV i'll just end up playing it for the first month, buy a few months of subscription and not play it because of GTA V. LOL

at least a subscription cost is up front, and that money will go to getting quality updates. people bought deluxe and ultimate editions, and bought season passes, for a game where the original studio has been closed, and Trion is developing other MMOs. defiance is obviously not any kind of priority for the company . the 150 dollars the one guy spent for the ultimate edition is more than a full year of subscription costs for FF XIV .

Unfortunately since DLC is finally released, it's unlikely you would be able to receive a refund.

I've had a whole lot of fun playing this game, but now I just don't know. Call me naive but I didn't think it would be this bad with the dlc release. And now I still can't get into the PS3 servers because of time out errors. Like other people have said before, with FF and GTA around the corner I wonder if at this point we're just beating a dead horse.

i'm on the EU server and i'd like some form of compensation $40 for something we got $10 for how fantastic, where do i sign up?
