Midnight release in US and Gamestop Exclusive edition!?!?

yes Europeans may have had it early or first, it has to do with holiday weekend something or other.

Fact is the server are NOT coming up till 8 to 10 am on April 2 2013 PDT. So the only thing they have over rest of us, is they are looking at their copies, that's about it , server will NOT go live on the 2nd of April at Midnight So yes expect if you can get it at midnight to wait for rest of us in the morning to suffer along with us, as we all rush onto servers and enjoy massive lag

Other Midnight releases have been done usually because of EARLY ACCESS. Which is usually done as a promo and reward for Pre-Order customers .

This was NOT offered as Defiance Pre - Order, Having played the Beta and done early access for other games I prefer the Dodge or other tangible-in-game rewards anyways over the extra few hours.

Its awesome to find out that so many people are getting the limited or premium editions. Since Trion and Syfy are taking some big steps in what will hopefully be a new way to have immersive games and tv shows!!!!!

There is no midnight release for defiance here. The employee told me not enough preorders. They have 0 preorder for standard edition nada zip zilch zero. My friend from the UK told me about the game and slowly gathering steam. I preordered on the very last day of beta I guess I was lucky. My friends on a budget either went with GEARS or Bioshock and broke till payday. They have never even heard of the game on xbox360

Yeah Bioshock was a pretty good game but it and defiance are not in the same ball park. Have been working on getting my friends to get defiance and they keep comparing the two witch you can't do because there not in the same ball park there not even the same dang sport. ( reminds me of pulp fiction, not quoted perfectly tho) Hopefully your friends get it though man should be an Awesome game!!!!
