I personally am overjoyed with the direction they have taken with Mods and the Salvage Matrix in general. So what Blue mods are 10K now... Green's 6..... you can get what was going for 100-200K A MOD for 10 K...... I can also get a full set of green mods for my purple and crap orange weapons for 24K...... and opening the slots is so damn cheap I wee'ed my self the first time I saw it.... (Then kicked myself for opening 300K salvage worth of mod slots the week before (3 SLOTS!) So all in all, the balance is in the player's favor by a huge margin.

For all I ***** about Trion..... they get an attaboy from me on this one.

I love this change I can finally get the synergy mods I need for my guns. The Specials are blue that have synergies too. I can finally finish my guns instead of praying that someone on the trading forums has what I am looking for. Hoping that I can find them online before they sell it.

The only people this mod change actually screws over where the Mod Hoarders who were price gouging, and I have no sympathy for them. I could see it was out of hand on the Xbox and was slowly bleeding into the PC side as people where getting desperate to find the mods they needed.

Why do people buy really nice 24" chrome rims for a rust bucket car?

I have to totally agree with Traveler here, the changes made to the salvage matrix and for that matter the economy are so much better than the previous code. There is actually a USE for Scrip now and everything doesn't hinge around salvage. As others have stated I had all five matrix slots working for most of the night last night (MOD Slots for EVERYONE in my collection!!!!).
