Trion is not a publicly owned company and you are just making "wild assumptions" about the company based on your own experience. From what I read, Rift is the game that almost buried Trion, thus the F2P model.
The same is true about your "every patch" comment.
You have to give them a bit of time on these things. The patch isn't even 24hrs old yet...

@ WARDUKE:They have been patching non stop, and re patching the same un resolved issues. So what do they do... ADD MORE STUFF THAT NEEDS PATCHES. Yeah that, that makes perfect "cents". Yeah you see what I did there huh? This whole thing is a joke. Like a 300 dollar do it yourself **** kit. With purchasable attatchments. @ Elric1: Yeah I feel like I really belong here.

Sometimes I miss thumbing thru a magazine to read what some over bloated opinion-meister had to say about a game I played. The abrupt switch to that sucking 'vacuum of ignorance-laced QQ' sound around here sure is deafening when you lean back for a moment and actually think about it... like cicadas.
Just so you know.. this is aimed in general and not so much to this topic.. the whines, bashers and haters ussually DO bring up valid points, its ussually more in the tone of voice and frequency a valid issue is brought up in a new thread.
The side mission's on the mini map are tied to sieges (as far as I can tell) and should be actually availeble to accept. I think the (side) quest showing on the map while there isnt a siege in progress is the bug part.
The missing items, while anoying is a known issue and unfortunately the only thing we CAN do is wait. And yes we shouldnt have to..

1. No assumptions. I seen what other companies; MMO or otherwise, have done and what they (Trion) has previously (and currently) have done. I haven't seen such things since Flagship Sudios. No assumptions; experience. Now if you think I am liar least then you got some basis to argue with right now your just amusing me.
2. Again your basing all this on assumptions while I am on experience. Your really looking bad now but you make me smile =)
3. 24hrs after all the mistakes they made in the past and the length we had to wait just to get this botched job gives me and a lot of people a reason to complain. This should not have went live at all. I understand it takes time. But Every patch from them has been the same what does it take to learn from one's mistakes? I can't remember a company that continued the same trend for this long and still exist. Ever. Again from experience of other patches from various other companies.

That was my understanding also.
