CD key for game comes in the box, im in the same boat. you have to wait til your box arrives to install an patch.
this is why i ordered the AMAZON DIGITAL version, already got my client patched up and ready to go, no waiting for an ACTUAL box.
buying the actual box saved you what, a whole 4 cents ?
If you *just* ordered it, contact amazon customer service immediately and try to convert to the digital version if you're up for that.

so if ineed to wait one week for it its ok, sadly there is no full patch for the game without key but its ok for me... for now ill see youtube gamplay XD.
i just hope for alot of cimematic in-game becouse for me the story line is the big thing in the game (as The Secret world or GuildWars1)
Kinda weird our account isn't activated by the pre-order code we got from Amazon :S
The least they can let us do is to download the client pff.
