How much time have you spent in Defiance from the moment you installed it, Lakki?
I figure it's easier to ask this, give your probable response back at you in a "well duh logic-bomb" moment than slam you with your own ignorant comments as they stand now. It's always better when the poster helps me make them look silly.

I have to agree with the OP.. I invested in this game out front and I feel like the devs have been in crisis money grab mode from the launch..This game is turning into a larger turkey every day and is death watch to see where s2 of the show goes IMO..
I don't feel bad on wasting money on games often, but this one kinda rubs me the wrong way for some reason.. I don't know it's all pretty sad because I like the show..
I like the weapon info changes, nice to see descriptions of the various abilities. The charge thing is a nice gimmick, but have only seen a few weapons where its actually viable in combat. The sword seems like a sneak up behind someone in pvp and knife them type weapon. This isn't fantasy where you can swing something repeatedly at anything that moves, plus its an energy blade. Best example I can think of which shows the dangers of waving an energy weapon around is Johnny Mnenomic where the guy uses a vibro whip a bit too much. Nuff said.
The raptor looks big and slow, and really is. The 4th seat is so much a turret that the devs embarrass themselves every time they deny what the Executive Producer stated. Basically they made it with a turret and found that too OP so they nerfed it and then whistled Dixie when the subject was brought up. Might have been nice to have it available in a large scale arena like planetside or something instead of just nerfing it. Hell could have included it shooting paint instead of bullets or reduced damage. Idiots.
The voices are funny, a bit better than the usual fare. Chat is a mess, although region chat is a nice add.
Trion should just fire the entire staff at Defiance, move the Rift team over to the game and start anew. If anything needs a FF14 makeover, its this game.
Leave the 'down the road' thinkin' for those that don't get caught up on seeing the trees for the forest. As far as the complaint department you're trying to head up with your thread, it would be intersting to note that more likely than not you got wayyyy more time per dollar spent on this game as is - bugs & all - than you would have pulled from a AAA game. Key issue that a lot of posters here seem to forget to consider when venting.
On the other hand, you admit this is your only game and your position atm is very understandable. You're upset because the one thing you hope to be great is flailing like a rum-drunk pelican. We've all been there, Lakki. I'm hella-upset at the moment too but I also don't allow hype and digital messiahs to ruin my day. You may want to step back and think about expanding your gaming style so as to allow for 2 or 3 games to envelope you in their digitized goodness. That way when issues like this arise you don't feel like the game/devs/parent company just kicked you in the chest.
I dunno'. Things like this are easier for me to handle but I've had practice since 02' when dealing with online gaming shenanigans. I'd like to say it gets better but that would be a cr@p lie in hopes of placating your issue/feelings.
The problem with your thinking is that you assume I'm upset in the first place. I posted this thread to discuss the DLC and how I am disappointed with the game's progress. As for playing other games, I have several, but they all have just as many issues. I choose to play Defiance because I enjoy the show and PVP. When I originally bought the game, I knew it was a gamble. Any game based on a movie or show is. But again, please stick to the topic: the quality of the DLC.
Do you really want me to stick to the topic and point out all of what you think are issues to be nothing more than flittering bits of 'meh' in the wind... Or would you like me to come in a +1 like this comment with a pat on the back cuz' you're super awesome. Seems to me you only want what will put a "W" in your pocket. If you're saying you like the dlc, do so and leave it at that. I stated my opinions and observations of the game. If you disagree, fine. ...Before anything else, The DLC shouldnt be free, no... The 'free' part of the DLC shouldve been lessened, with much more on the 'Paid' side of it... A new area for DLC-only, with its own Dark Arks + Sieges. While keeping the Pursuits the way they are (forcing any who wishes to complete Siege pursuits to buy the DLC). This way works, the "forcing" issue, since the EGO gained from Siege pursuits is null right now, and most likely in the future.
Of course there are new problems. It appears your reaction is what really needs an overhaul, not the game.
PvP - Queue for MA only. New content, its all that people want to play right now (IDK why, as its got Lighting issues and half the building openings, you cant go though)... Other then that i think its just been no one is playing any other map. If theres more to it and you cant even play that, well, thats beyond me.
Sieges/Arkfalls - Yeah, they were going to be a joke... All those people, and you think it wouldnt be easy? Wait a month when groups hitting these have shrunk down to 15-25 people. It will still be easy enough, but tougher. AND, we knew Arks had the Green Boost thing, so OF COURSE it was going to be easy when theres 50 people there with 1/4 of then doing Boosted dmg.
Castithan's - we knew it was just a skin, plain and simple. Nothing more.
Raptor/Turret - Everyones been saying its TRASH since Alpha 3 weeks ago... and the Turret issue has been argued to death between players and CM's. Yes, i do believe it had a turret, and they took it out. It was probably for performance issues. AGAIN we knew from the beginning of ALPHA it had no turret. Let the turret whining die already.
Charge Weaps/Blades - I never saw much use in them in the 1st place. Theres no specific Skill for them, and we have better weapons already. I guess its fun for some people to hack and slash. But think if you could run and slash... Blur Blades would rule PvP, and thats plain dumb. I play shooters to shoot, not to get stabbed/slashed all game long.
Mods - More of the same, Alpha showed us the reduction. Live with it... be more enraged about Lockboxes. They get nerfed, then buffed, then nerfed, and now a buff for T4's... makes sense.
Arenas - I believe it was stated Arenas for co-op were messed up. Better to pull co-op arenas and have them work properly Solo, then to strand the people who ACTUALLY paid for Arenas with no arenas like you hadnt paid... They will be co-op in time, probably pulled for Performance and/or difficulty not increasing.
Bank/Mail - No need for mail firstly. We have a forums, and PS3/360 both have their own mssging systems. Most clans have their own forums/FB account, so theres communication there. How much more do you need?... Banks are looked at every meeting theyve said, but whish would you rather have: A~MA map lighting/invisible walls fixed. or B~Hooray we have banks!... It gets de-prioritized, but they are looking at a system to bank.
