Okay, here's the story, I have until 8:00 to play ps3. i go into defiance and start downloading the update at 6:30.
at first it says that it will take 3 minutes to update. i think "okay i can wait that long."
Well, basically 55 minutes later, after fully downloading a DLC patch that is of no use to me whatsoever, except the bug fixes that they were way behind on, i finally pressed "x" for play. i breathed a sigh of relief and loaded in the game. i then repeatedly timed out until a few minutes after 8:00.
i then stalked over to the computer and started typing.
