    *sigh*

A fix from PSN can take about a day in most cases.
But in some cases two fixes are needed, one from PSN and one to the software.

In the case of Defiance, we're more than likely waiting on a client update that will utilize the new files hosted on PSN. Two pieces to this puzzle, and it seems PSN has done their work. That said, Trion likely can't release an updated client/patch until.... PSN updates again.

Horrid timing, as DC Universe Online (other MMO) is releasing their 8th DLC on PC/PS3, and Final Fantasy XIV goes live on PC/PS3. Very few people would bother looking at Defiance point. Some games can afford growing pains. Defiance, and looking at what's actually featured in the DLC... it can't. Not happy about them breaking my favorite weapon either... and the social menu now taking up the entire screen... really? It's like an intern breeding ground instead of a developer studio.

Mods couldnt answer you. Their sphere of things is forum ToS related support et al. You mean the community team. They've already gone home for the day and 2 of the 3 on the team are livestreaming a table top game atm.

The point is that Comcast would have dibs on Trion well before EA could even be considered. Comcast is one of Trion's corporate investors.... not any contention to the poor quality of either company(which I would be in agreement with).

FOR THE LAST DAMN TIME PSN HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE PROBLEM.
    TRION UPLOADED A BAD PATCH.
It happened for Back to karkand DLC with Dice.
some people were able to use some weapons on the new maps while others froze.
it also happened with the close quarters patch to where NA couldnt get in the games or paly on the maps.
the only difference is those problems were fixed quite fast and the community had very good communication with Dice
where as trion is being the dad that runs away when he gets a girlfriend pregnant

I booted my PS3 into safe mode and rebuilt the index and made sure I had plenty of disc space open before DLC day. Didn't have any trouble downloading.

Now is the time for the season pass holders to call Sony for refunds. I tried a while back the lady wouldnt do a refund but gave $5 in PSN $$ so I think im screwed on a refund now.

Ahh yes I forgot about this:

"Still, $105 million is the rough budget for the project, which includes a staggering $40 million for the TV series alone (for perspective, HBO, the gold standard for expensive TV, shelled out $60 million on Game of Thrones' first season). The balance pays for the $50 million it cost to make the video game, developed with software company Trion Worlds, which shares the financial burden (NBCU owns half of the game with Trion), and the show's huge marketing budget—upwards of $15 million.
[UPDATED: The budget breakdown for Defiance has been revised per new information from Syfy, which initially provided Adweek with erroneous numbers. Though the overall figure is correct, NBCUniversal bears less of the financial burden than it originally indicated.]
That budget alone indicates just how big a swing Defiance is, not just for Syfy but for NBCUniversal’s whole cable division. Sources say the show, which debuts April 15 at 9 p.m., is being given as high a level of internal promotional attention as Universal Studios’ feature films. “[It’s] top-priority across Comcast for March and April, up there with Fast & Furious 6,” says one insider.
In other words, Defiance had better hit big."

I would love to see the accountability for how the 60 milllion was spent in Defiance. Also since the marketing team is just a handful of people now where has the budget gone... Have to think about this.
