yea, games has been down for over an hour here In florida on xbox..
always the same things, my wife is the only one who plays it anymore, and we both are sitting here not playing this game, due to what?
critical time outs, and never no real replies or anything, shouldn't be flaming these kind of threads, everyone needs to get on the same page, outside of trions forums and start coming up with something real to make your voice heard,
I have been fighting with this company for so long, over things we paid for and things we earned, have got tons of emails and really have been sitting on them,
but honestly what can anyone do sitting here on trions forums talking about this?
its been a rip off, its been a, we only care about more money way of dealing with most of us, soo,
do something real about it.
If it does go to a lawsuit their going to ask what actions did you take to request a refund I want to cover all bases via contacting sony ingame live support and forums requests. I do not know how to start a facebook group for refund / lawsuit info but if someone else could that would be great. We need a list of serious people requesting refunds to even start anywhere. Once we amass enough people then we may have a force that could get answers. I agree these forums can be scrubbed or taken down altogether at any time so gathering info and starting a group somewhere outside of trions control would be a good idea.
Here's a novel concept for you.. before you go starting facebook pages and trying to get all hoity toity lawyered up and whatnot..
You've already spent a good amount of money in this game, and that's great. But before you spend what amounts to a literal BUTT TON of money on legal fee's, perhaps you should let your fingers do the walking down the google path and research how many people have actually successfully sued game companies before, and won.. and the costs generated by losing such a suit, either in standard or appeals courts. And good luck finding a lawyer to take the case from day one to trial.
Now mind you, I'm not saying that you shouldn't voice your opinion, and I'm not saying that you should request a refund if you feel ones due. What I *am* saying is that your probably not going to get one (not with Trions record), and since you bought and used so many bits from the store, obviously the game was working properly for you to do so, thus the burden of proof that Trion has given a "bad or unusable" product just became an epic fail by your own admission. Hate to tell ya that, but it's the truth.
Now hey.. if you guys want to get all riled up and start a food drive or something to generate some money for the legal fee's, that's all on you. But reality is, anything other than demanding a refund in the proper place, time, and fashion is probably just going to cost you more money than it's worth in the long run, and you'll be lucky to break even.
But hey.. don't take my word for it.. google it.. bing it.. whatever.. you'll see what I'm talking about soon enough.
Wasting your time asking for a refund on the forums. You have to contact Trion's support for that. Just letting you know.
Should be a group that when there is a lot of gamer complaints something actually can be DONE about it..
its always feels like florida, its a right to work state, so they treat you how ever they want, in the end most companies treat you as if you can be replaced or thrown away, never do they care if your family is gonna go without, they just hire and fire as they want..
its the same thing with gaming companies, they will put out any kind of game or content, give you half a game, then charge you for the other half.. they will have rewards in a game that can take a lot of time, and during the time you spend earning these rewards, the companies hope you spend more money in game..
then when you finally do earn your rewards they are bugged and now that company is sitting with all money and a product that was just basically smoking mirrors,..
bait and switch, what ever you want to call it.
But with all this money these companies make, I could care less what they squander, I only care about sales.
and sales of games costing over 150$ and then there is still in store items for real money,
yes, there needs to be a way of making sure future games and companies have some integrity to there words,
not this we fire and hire ppl as we choose.. they tell us one thing six months ago, we beta test for these games, we send them detailed info on bugs and problems, yet they are still all in the game..
Example: the draw in for this game is horrible on consoles,, everyone new complains about even the fences randomly appearing..
its little things like this that tells certain gamers to stay away from games like this, the code is shotty, the teams behind it often are hired and then fired upon completion, therefore they turn into a companies scape goat..
I could go on and on about this and after working for and with gaming companies and games, I often run into the same issues, and this is a big example of that..
they treat even graphic design teams like throw aways most of the time, always wanting us to take on work as a freelancer,, don't want contracts and if they do, its only until the release the game, then they dump whole teams and could really care less..
that's why most of them that work in house for companies like this, just like with defiance, when you watch the twitch feeds from the first week of this game to now, even gregs ego is what?
exactly, they come on there and pretend to play this game, they only know about issues and bugs through our eyes, not there own, oh yea maybe some of the Dm's and Cs reps I have dealt with actually play this game some,
but do you know how many times I have been told by someone who actually works for trion that they don't know about this in game issue, then I show them screenshots and bring it to there attention..
you put in part time, you get junk, they then turn around and sale us some fast food version of there game so they all can go out and buy starbucks tomorrow morning and goto work thinking they did something productive, yet in reality, like a lot of ppl have been complaining about, reality is, they are basically taking ppls money by delivering a broken product that half way works some of the time,
like one person said on twitter,
"if my car stoped running every Friday, that would be a real problem"
that's whats going on here and with alot of other games and companies,
facebook is not the answer, its to family oriented, but to get ppl together on same page, something as simple as twitter would help, its what I used for months actually helping and giving back to this community, until I just walked away from it..

Hate to be the bearer of bad news and tidings.. but just because someone that works for Trion hasn't seen or experienced some bug that you have is no indication that they don't play the game.
I'm almost ego 3K, and the latest scope issue is the first bug in the game I've encountered since launch on my pc. And all the game crushing bugs that I found in Alpha and Beta where fixed prior to launch.
Now.. that's not to say that Trion hasn't really be a bad child lately, because let's be honest, they most certainly have.. but it's to point out that just because someone on the dev team or in Customer Service hasn't seen or heard of the bug your describing, doesn't mean that person doesn't actually PLAY the game on a regular basis.
Oh.. and if you've been around gaming for awhile, you'll know that the developers NEVER use their primary accounts for video feeds. Most of them don't want you and I to know who they really are in the game, so they use a shadow account or an alternative character, it's pretty common![]()
