Quick breakdown.

Not played Defiance in a fortnight.
Buy DLC.
Start game up and patch for 3 hours.
Character select screen is all black.
Told to restart game.
Game starts to repatch.
Goes to 0% progress and 0 DL speed.

So I go into the 16g worth of defiance downloads on my hard drive and notice that my save file is now corrupted.

About to try and repatch and hope to god it works.

My question is if I was to delete EVERYTHING and reinstall everything would that be the end of my work?

Blackout is a known issue atm. Its not something on your end.

My advice would be to grab a pillow. To punch it or cry in it. You are not going to be a happy camper in a few minutes. You can't do anything at the moment. Are you on Xbox? I just watched someone's video and they were getting the same thing.

I'm an avid Defiance fan but this is testing my will to continue playing. Fingers crossed the repatch works.

yea the EU tab got me curious this morning, now if we could just get it cross platform, even between the consoles would be great, have a few mates could game with, most are RIP tho..

Looks like I'm going the same way through no fault if my own.

Just got a critical Patch error. Going to attempt it again but losing the will.
