Same thing happened to me I deleted all patch data for Defiance and redownloaded it. You can find the patch data in "Game Data Utility". If you decide to do this could you write down the size of the patch data before you delete it and post it here plz?Originally Posted by Bdiddy

Well I would believe that if my roommate wasn't playing defiance right now. Seems since he never got an error...he waited to patch...I started when they said it was up the first time. Who knows. But it has always worked fine and works fine for every other game and patch. Oh also if I wasn't one of hundreds of people with the same problem.
I did this just now and it worked. The patch before deletion is 15GB.
Yeah I knew mine was huge before I deleted it. I guess im going to have to delete it and repatch more often cause thats a ton of junk data.
Delete patches from where, and how do you know which one(s) to delete. Repatch from where to where. Will the new patch then download and work properly???
once a new patch is downloaded, the old one is gone.
defiance is glitches .
go to game utility, delete patch data.
put game in, start over.
everything is saved.
Thats the way it should work but it doesnt seem to be happening. If you look at your patch data and have 10gb+ you have a bunch of junk data. Im at 4065mb now but had over 10gb before I deleted and repatched. The best part for me is the game has played much smoother than ever the past few days.
After the reinstall it`s only 11GB.
