No but then that was always the case. It's why I don't believe some have really understood what "rare" might be referring to. I have great blues and purples, better than some oranges I hear of that others have. To me, that maybe makes them rare. I just think of getting an orange as something fun but not necessarily the best.

Well, luck can change. I got an orange infector at 106. Didn't get another orange until 2600 and I was getting lockboxes daily, lots and lots of lockboxes. I'd buy T3s, T4s, and do so all the time. I started getting T2 boxes and then got a few oranges from them. But between 3400 and 4600+ EGO, it all dried up and I wasn't geting anything-greens all around no matter what boxes I got. And other people said they'd get several a day or a week. So, it's been better for me if only for the surprise of getting that color.

that is just bad luck, or I have good luck... I have gotten maybe 10 and have gotten like 4 or 5 oranges, none were really super exciting besides the new charge sniper but when I saw the rolls I was let down.

I do agree with you. I think that there are several incredible purples out there that far surpass any orange. I have a tachmag pulser that has 2 crit bonuses and a +10% crit from the hip weapon mastery bonus that I use daily. I'm sure there are oranges out there that match this, but I have not found them.

    Don't cry for me Argentina

I told my clan mates the other night, if i played this game for loot, i woulda been gone a long time ago.

One of my clan spent over 2 million salvage and while he got a few oranges, (8 i believe) and 5 or 6 got immediately turned back into salvage, so whats worse, getting worthless OJ's or none at all. (i would rather have loved and lost, than have never loved at all, yeah right)

Forgot to metion i'm 4500+ ego so its not a matter of being low ego either.

All told in my playing career ive seen maybe 8 OJ's total (1 shield and 2 grenades and a few RL's) so RNG is RNG.

Seems like such a tease to me. The high of seeing that Orange name pop up with that gun shot sound...like YES, I got one. Just to view the stats and think "this thing sucks.."

EDIT: Do you always record your T4 Box openings? I don't record mine because I don't want to live the shame of getting crap over and over again.

Well, I don't buy lockboxes with scrip or bits, so my sample size is small -- exactly three T4s. In them: Two purples, six blues, and four greens.

One of the purples was a flash-bang grenade so I can't say it's all horrible, the other a shottie with lousy stats...but one worth-keeping item out of eight seems rather light for 3x64 key-codes.

That's actually pretty good on an immunizer. It'll have a fire rate on par with that pre-nerf. I haz envy.

I opened one t4 right after the patch hit and got an orange ranger..... with double mag bonus. Hate the semiauto sniper rifles in general, so off to the grinder with that one. opened 3 more over the last couple of days and got a blue charge blade, a purple VBI charge shotty and green and blue crap.
