No, what happened is the following
g2play.net has sent out 1 serial out to people (to some it was the game serial and to others it was the pre-order key). At this moment those with a game key will need to contact g2play to ask for the pre-order key (not sure if they get them or not) while those with a pre-order key need to wait till the morning (CET time) for g2play to get a game key.
overall, huge screw up with g2play.net atm.
G2play really messed up this time. fortunately i can play but missing all the preorder items. unlikely i'll ever get a preorder key from them now the game is released. Mailed G2play, hope that i at least get some compensation in the form of those g2play credits.
Well atleast we know we will be getting our preorder code so that is okay

g2play said they'll handle it with the supplier and get back to me tomorrow, same canned message we always get. senior GM sent me an email saying we are in fact entitled to those pre-order items and they're fixing it on their end, and no need to contact the retailer.

Pretty stupid if you ask me all of this trouble.... When your own company can't give you a certain answer! Contacted Trion over 5 times to see if I could finally get some resolve but nothing! Each one of their technical workers gave a different excuse... WHY SHOULD WE HAVE TO CHANGE PASSWORD TO BE ENTITLED TO PLAY and that doesn't even work for lots of people like me. Lots of these things makes no sense. I could see it being my own fault like me not running it as admin or something along those lines but there's thousands of people having problems at the moment and they keep throwing out excuses! They should some how be able to look on our accounts and see if we got the FULL GAME or BETA VERSION or just PRELOAD bonus ****. Its like they don't even know the stuff they created..........
You don't need to change your password to be entitled. Accounts are unlocked over time to prevent everyone from trying to download it at the same time. Changing your password just tricks the system to put you on the list.
