Defiance - House

Even though Defiance is a TPS it would still be nice if we would eventually be able to have our own house, or bank; i feel as if the house will give us more customization options.

Hopefully, they might come out with a DLC to where you can buy a house somewhere in a town, almost like Skyrim.

The way it could work is if you have 1 house that everyone can buy but you can visit your friends house by entering the house and entering the persons name then it could create an instance for you and whoever else wants to join.

What do you guys think?

I don't think it really fits the feel of the game. Most of the buildings you do find are in terrible shape.

Woah why so negative for this idea? I quite like the idea... Maybe rather than taking up space with them, you just teleport in and out of them and can invite friends and such

But wouldn't it be nice to have a place to store some of your weapons ? That you might not want to get rid of

I'd prefer (ideally customisable) player camp sites to player housing. Something that you can put up temporarily that acts like an in-game house and looks like the kind of thing that a traveler would have because, as has been stated, I think that real estate in Defiance is probably not a big thing. Most buildings look pretty terrible and I know that my character at least would be the type to live on the road than in some sort of house.
