EU Cant watch the Defiance series?

Hello Defiance fans!

If I understood all this correctly the planned Defiance series on TV will have a relationship/syncronised with the game (When something changes in the TV series the game will also change). Meaning that events in the last tv show feels natural in the game, so it would be great if we who live in EU could also watch the show at the same time as the American viewers.


I live in EU and currently in Sweden, for us it usally takes 4-12months until our TV stations shows the same series.
(I'm still trying to find a pay to watch site that works in Sweden.)

If you guys have any tips on where I can watch Defiance, I would be grateful!

Well mate it all depends! Some TV series were only 3 weeks after but sure thats THREE weeks (game of thrones for instance) But yeah only EU country i know will get the show trough the same channel is UK. Some people have suggested iTunes and other such companys and their streams but dont know if those will be region locked or not.

In the same boat here the first 15min tho were awzome!

Hulu Plus might have it earlier, or maybe directly on the syfy web site. but I can't say for sure never had to do either just set my DVR to record

I don't have much info if these suggestions will work for you but iTunes & Amazon will be selling each episode. I believe Amazon is at a price point of $1.99 per episode. Which isn't too bad, if neither of those work for you sorry i'm unsure of what & what doesn't work for my EU pals.

Unfortunately we're out of luck as usual.

As long as you're willing to pay for yourself you could always use something like unblock-us and watch the show on Hulu Plus (if they're going to air it in time).

Syfy is regonlocked, cant even watch the 15min preview trough them! Hulu i dont know, was region locked 4-5 years ago, havent checked back there yet! Even tho theres IP programs around to go "round" it

For those in the UK and access to SyFy it will be showing Defiance the day after the US, but with all the region locks on streaming services good luck finding somewhere with access to it.

Like I said, as long as one is willing to pay for the content they watch, it's fully possible to use something like unblock-us.com to gain access to region locked content from the US. Without any difference in download speed.

Netflix!

Forget Netflix for Defiance. Netflix takes ages to get new content (in Sweden, which is where OP is from). In order for Netflix to get it, Defiance has to had its whole season aired, DVD's have to be sold/rented and then Netflix gets it.

Amazon, google play et al don't do streaming in most EU countries Not sure about itunes though, but somehow I doubt it.

Hulu Plus is also region locked, but easy to circumvent. However they don't have the show yet.
