EU Cant watch the Defiance series?

Would actualy be good if you could just stream the episodes through the Defiance site, and ofc only thoes who have the game linked to their account can watch it, but in that way everyone would be able to see it at the same time. I cant see why not as the game and series are linked together so should be possible.

Have Trion sell the episodes & stream it to the EU would be fair though. SyFy would take most of the cut but it'll be more of a fan service for those who can't watch it.

Just as I thought then, Ill just buy an vpn or similar..

Going to test to Amazon though, I still want to support the company and buy all series but seems like they dig their own grave.

In the UK it airs the day after it airs in the USA which is good Otherwise I might have had to pirate it. Glad the companies are learning

If you want to watch it legitimately from where you are, I think you are going to need a VPN or similar so that you can watch it on the syfy website. There are plenty of free vpns you can use.

Unfortunately that's how the region licensing works for TV shows (and movies amongst other things). It's stupid in these Internet-times but, just like the music industry, no one wants to adapt. Streaming services are one step forward, but there's no real reason not to stream content worldwide within seconds after it's been aired on TV. Or even at the same time. Or before.

No need to buy a VPN just to watch a couple of shows. You can mask your IP for free for that little time you will be using it
