Apparently they added Hellbug mounts to Rift. I want my Hellbug mount in Defiance. Just sayin'.

Perhaps, but your don't need to dump on every freaking thread for your own amusement, just because you have issues with Defiance and Trion. Have some restraint and respect for others.
Better yet, grow up.
*Topic: Need to see more land opened up, a focus on Co-Op, high voted suggests from the board and dirtbikes in the second DLC.
The OP opened that door when he specifically asked what others' thoughts were on DLC-1, and what they expect in DLC-2.
The moment that was asked, this thread's fate was sealed.
Personally, I thought DLC-1 was a joke as far as paid content, but has been a lot of fun in the free content department.
Right now, I have no thoughts on DLC-2. I'm waiting to see what Hartsman does with a rebuilt Defiance team up in Redwood, whether or not Chris decided to make the transition and remain Executive Producer, and so forth.
I didn't purchase the first DLC, because there isn't enough value in it for me and that's all I really need to say about it other than I may pick it up in a sale eventually.
DLC's content was on par with if not perhaps less than the Infected Episode content when you think about it.
I think your expectations are too high. Remember the current "team"(and I use that term very loosely) left remaining from the original 150 that worked to bring you this first dlc is just a sliver of a fraction of the original(ie handful).
Dont expect that small set of folks to be able to produce something the same or better than now and in a signficantly shorter time frame. At worse you'll have braced yourself accordingly or be pleasantly surprised otherwise.
we'll have to wait until the move to redwood is done and see what hartsman is planning for the future of this game... Because if we are to believe on some predictions this game will not last to see another year. I didn't buy the first DLC and will not send any money until they start to provide real information on the state of the game and those "major changes" they are speaking of for Defiance.
