Beaten at His Own Game

So, I've had this idea since before the DLC drop that, when Charge Blades came out, I was going to take on Nim with nothing but a Charge Blade. No perks or EGO Power; just the blade. No special reason, just to say that I have.

Well, I decided to do it tonight. Went in barebones. Came out victorious. It was actually kind of funny, because my charge blade is green, and I forgot that his was red, so it was kind of like Jedi vs Sith there for a while. xD

Its not all that hard really. I do recommend a Respark Regenerator and some patience. Not really a battle you can rush through. Learning his tactics and his vulnerable times is key for this challenge.

If I had to pick which stage was hardest I'd have to say the 2nd stage simply because of all of those damn clones. Its not that bad when only 3 clones are shooting energy shots at you, but when you get to 5 when his health is low, well, they get pretty hard to hit and that can be problematic. Almost caused me to die a few times.

Anyway, just felt like sharing that. I'm sure that there's others who have done it already. That's cool. Now I can join the ranks.

Too me about half hour. I took my time with him this time. Only my third time beating him actually. First time was with sniper/smg (15 min), 2nd was with bmgs (no heal) (20mins), now with the charge blade (30mins).

Congrats! I did the same thing but my blade was yellow. I thought it was really fun to do, took me about 40 minutes

I wanted to wait until I got the purple blade, but then I thought of a certain aspect that could be exploited after restarting the main questline, so I just hopped to it. I used the Blue rarity Casti blade (750 base damage).

My green blade took him down 20 minutes.
