I always get a kick out of sticky grenades. Especially with Raiders, on their heads, on their butts, they keep running around until they go boom. I don't know if it ever happened with a Goldrusher, but I've sent a lot of characters flying with my incinerator.
My buddy and i were messing around in one of the farms when he grabs a grenade launcher and pegs chickens with the stickies lol then they start running at raiders and BAM suicide chicken bombs

I LOL'd last time I was driving to an arkfall
and jumped a big hill (mountain?)
and as I land I see the landscape and Under the landscape and next thing I know
I am falling an incredible distance Right through the Ground! I couldn't even see the ground!
well after a few seconds I hit water and begin swimming for my life (blue screen of death was approaching lol)
well I extracted and wouldn't you know it? Volge emergency right where it decided to respawn me....
died, extracted and Killed the volge. they can be annoying at times like that. still funny though.
guess it was "Get spanked by the Volge Holiday"

The best was I'm at the East radio station dealing with an Ark fall and lo and behold a player is walking on thin air about 50 ft off the ground! Just strolling along no worries in the world. I laughed so hard...I died and had to be revived. Made my game hilarious. And he disappeared out of sight.
Has anyone ever seen an Arkfall that is only visible from a certain distance and angle? I had a really trippy night this week.
I love the idea of chicken bombers! I have to admit as well - I've never been able to kill a single Volge without other players working with me. I've seen some amazing players own the Volge but they literally walk all over me.
Funny Defiance moments.
I have a few, but there is one that truly stands out.
The funniest is when I ponged while playing. (Ponging is when you have played so long that you fall asleep reclining in your game chair.)
It was funny enough that this happened, but the dialogue with clan members went something like this....
me: "Oh man, I'm really tired, but I REALLY want to stay up for the server reset and grab a box.."
clanmate: "C'mon man if you're tired just go to bed...."
...*feeling it coming on*.
me: "oh crap I think I'm g o i n g .. t o ....f a l l a s l e a a a a p"
...- at this point I did just that, but when I did, my hand pressed down on the control stick so my characters head slowly dipped forward and just stayed there.
My clanmates laughed like mad as it actually looked like my character fell asleep standing up.
I then proceeded to begin snoring into the mic.
They spent the better part of five minutes doing melee attacks on my character trying to wake me up and yelling at me but to no avail.
A few days ago i decided to do the jackleg joe mission, right in the middle of the boss fight the four elite 99er's show up. i take out the two huggin the wall with a grenade, took out the third with my smg(yea it took a while with 121dmg per round lol)
Right after i take out the third the last one creeps around the corner of the crate, completely destroys the rest of my shield, part of my health and sets me on fire all at once, i roll out to take cover and drop the flames, right in the middle of executing the roll Rosa yells out "GIVE ME SOME COVER FIRE!" to witch i reply without hesitation or a full second of thought, "EFF YOU! SHOOOT BETTER!"
for those having trouble with the first half of the joe boss fight where he has the shield up becuase of all the 99ers that come out the sec his shield breaks, JOES SHIELD DOESNT HAVE A ROOF! (i am complete my ***) if you have an incinerator or another grenade launcher that shoot bouncy grenades you can backboard the grenades into the top of the shield damaging him, it kind of makes it into a game of basketball with grenades lol.
So here I am screaming cross-country, boosting off every ramp I get lined up on. On one such jump I see there is a Volge incursion in progress directly in front of me. With the speed and trajectory I had I could tell I would fly directly over the whole thing, laughing all the way. As I landed on the other side of the incursion I hit one of the twisted roots of the terraformed plants. The momentum rolled me up and over backwards right into the center of the incursion... yeah, I died shortly afterwards. Not laughing quite as hard at that moment but I would love to see it all happen again.
This a bit of a Spoiler but here it is. It made me both laugh and go WTF!
So we're underground with Tork, the Sheriff dude and the girl who can't shoot for s**t and we are doing ok - since its four people vrs numberous Dark Matter dudes. We get to the final room and I'm informed - "Nims behind that door".
Now I have to admit; paying attention is not my strongest skill but I know that Nim is the big bad. So you can imagine my muted shock when my three companions basically pat me on the back and go "You deal with it - alone. We'll sit out here and pretend to be busy" (yes i'm ad libbing).
Yeah... I died....many times. I'll have to comeback with something better than the peashooter i'm apparently wielding.
