Changing Installation Directory Will Result in the "Account Is Not Entitled To Play"

Just a heads-up, and this definitely deserves it's own post, but if you ordered the game directly through Trion Worlds and changed the installation directory when installing the patcher you'll get this error.

The only solution right now is to completely delete the patcher and all of it's associated files and then reinstall it into the default directory (apps/data).

Sucks but at least you'll be able to pre-load.

And to TW, fix your lousy patcher and/or the authentication system. I don't much care for programs to be installed out of my Program Files folders (that's the entire purpose of those two folders).

Just a question did you try the common fix of changing your password once you had it installed in the custom path? Only curious if that works or not. Thanks for the warning either way!
Don't be insulted because i don't wanna explain myself, i was probably joking anyway.

I changed the directory to program files (x86) and had no problems installing, after remembering to run as administrator

if it installed to the program files directory, wouldn't there be UAC issues whenever it was patched? Either that or force it into admin mode. Might be confusing for some people who panic at UAC warnings :P

I changed the install directory (obviously!) and it's all good.

I changed install directory, no issues. Maybe it didn't change the directory in your startup logs when you fired it up?

I changed the install directory with no problems.

Then after it preloaded, i moved the whole thing into the steam folder and it still worked.

A non-default install directory is not a problem.

You should wait until the patcher is done

I've moved mine to Program Files x86 and I have no problems.

I changed the install directory and it seems to all be fine - lets me load into the game, atleast up to the point it looks for the server.

UAC - one of the first things to get disabled.

Are you sure you want to run that program you just clicked on?
    Really?
    Really, really sure?
