Y'all caught the part where I said, "...if you ordered the game directly through Trion Worlds...," right?

If you didn't order the game through TW this does not apply to you because you manually applied your game codes.

And to answer a poster's question above, yes, I had tried the trick with changing my password and it did not resolve the issue. Deleting my previous patcher installation and then reinstalling it to the default apps\data directory corrected the issue and allowed me to pre-load the entire client.

    Really?
    Really, really sure?

    Oh just sod off
LOL. I leave my UAC up, though I really don't need to, I'm pretty careful with what I install... Just too lazy to do it :P

It doesn't matter where you get your codes from, we all have the same patcher DLed from Trion's site. If Trion hasn't activated your codes, then that's a completely different issue.

    This.

It's the same patcher. I'm using the exact same one as the OP. Changing installation directory has nothing to do with the account itself.

Something else is causing the issue.

Weird, no problem here. I even change the location to install on my D: drive. Maybe something wrong with your pc?

The patcher I got it was right from Trion site.

I changed my install directory as well without any issues.

Might be the OP is having a similar issue as the ARMA DayZ patchers had, they didn't have write privlages in the programs file. Running the program as Admin fixed those issues, not sure if you always want to do that, but the root issue is the security setting.
