Any experts on skipping class

I am actually sick, I threw up infront of my professer the other day. But she only accepts hospital visits and deaths for an abcence and I cant miss class. What would you do, I hate classes that make you go. 1. I pay a lot of money, 2 she knows I am sick I work for on campus! I would be out in time to play defiance, that's not the issue, I just am frustrated and it makes me even more frustrated thinking of making it through a 2 hour class without running out throwing up. I got food poisoning from im assuming deviled eggs..

In all seriousness though, hospital visit or death is pretty harsh. Wouldn't a doctor's note work? Does your campus have some type of clinic you can visit?

Zero tolerance policy? Most of my classes were 3 absences and you fail but at least there was some leeway.

I got myself a chronic illness doctors note though which was my get out of jail free card.

What country are you in? There are laws that could help you out if you're in the right country. Of course getting litigious may be a bit of an overkill, but when you're ill, a little overkill can go a long way

Professor? If you are paying for the classes, you should be able to come in whenever the **** you feel like it without consequence
