diablo 3 will kill Defiance

If they did a StarCraft 3PS/FPS MMO it might be one the same level... but Diablo 3 is a total diffrent game.

For me and a lot of my friends, Diablo 3 did not provide the same feeling as the first two.
It´s short, it´s boring and it lacks good fun to keep me going.
if you sell 12mill copies and only get 1m to play, well that sounds not so great...
I wonder what those 1m are doing, i guess they play with others in multi play and not the solo play?

Anyway, i did not want a fight and kidnap this thread, nice that someone likes Diablo.

I'm not sure I understand these "...will kill..." posts that can be found in absolutely all forums for any game but I know that Defiance is one of just so very few games I really liked in year 2013. I had left it months ago and came back, will probably leave this weekend to play Saints Row and return later. The fact is I'm not so sure about awesomity of Diablo or FF online (which I ordered but kind of think it was a very bad decision already), so it might be that people will still play Defiance for very long (at least on consoles) because the other MMOs will turn out to be much worse.

P.S.
I just wish that on PS4 the next White knight chronicles comes out and that they make save files impossible to edit, then I will have my game of the year...

You say about it as if it happened regularly today. This image is from more than one year and, yes, for the first two weeks there were problems with logging in to Diablo's servers. But this was quite quickly fixed. From last days of May until today I didn't have a single problem with logging in to diablo's servers and I had no disconnections while playing (not counting my ISP problems).

I do not want to defend Diablo, or attack Defiance... but it's been almost five months, and connection to Defiance's servers (or keeping your char online in the game) is often a huge problem (mostly for consoles version). So comparing - Blizzard fixed problems with the connection in a flash.

Going back to the original thread. Diablo, even when Blizz will release dlc, is in no way a threat to Defiance. These are two completely different games. And two entirely different future.

Why do you think it would be unplayable for weeks?

Who said I haven't play Warcraft before?

Well I just improve my multitasking skills Defiance and Diablo3 in the same day

While I tend to agree that D3 is inferior to D2 LoD at it's peak and I still play it to this very day, I do think D3 is still entertaining and fairly bug free. They have made a whole lot of major improvements over the year and they plan to not stop.

I have played D3 over 1600 hours and even though it's repetitive, at least I have more choices of what I do than Defiance. Plus I feel that I am getting some where every time I log in; either advancing para level or finding interesting loots (or making them).

People love to knock D3 but it did sell over 10 mill copies and counting. If that's fail, then what is Defiance?

No idea on Defiance but when I did try and buy Diablo 2 I found out that my computer software would not install the game and if I wanted to play I must go and buy a computer just for the game. So I just got Diablo3 for pc but I suck at pc so I buy it on Ps3 when it is out
