I fought against one of this dude (I won't quote his name in a way to not cause Wolowizard any trouble with a "name and shame" here), I wasn't making him the same damage than the other opponents, I was shooting at him, I emptied 2 full magazines and a few shells of my VOT Fragger in his face (critical hits almost everytime) in close combat, he didn't even take full damage, usually with 3 or 4 shells the fight is over and the dude is dead, sometimes it even takes only 1 shell on some people with a bad build... And he was aiming so bad with his VOT Pulser Tachmag that I actually had the time to really empty 2 full magazines and a few shells, at the end of the fight, my character dies in "ragdoll" mod, falling on the ground and shjt, and the killcam starts, at this moment, the guy was like 25% shield and 10% life (after I shot him with around 24 shells...) and while he was jumping on my corpse, while shooting at nobody because there was nobody around, I saw his life and shield make a magic *POP* and instantly getting back to 100% both... Like he pushed a button in some way, after the fight was over, and like 2 or 3 seconds after the end of the fight *POP* "Ok nobody is around, he's dead and must have respawned somewhere, nobody sees me **CLIC** LIFE and SHIELD INSTANT RELOAD !!!"

So, far beyond taking almost no damage in many circumstances, the dudes seem able to trigger some shjt to get back all their shield & life instantly. And trust me, it wasn't a fast reload regeneration or the stuff you can get from Syphon effects proccs, those amoung you who know me a bit, you people know I have a lot of knowledge about the Syphon effect in particular with all the tutorials I have posted over this Forum... So trust me, it wasn't Syphon or legendary shield fast regen + life or whatever, and it seemed really too much convenient to be a coincidence or a misplaced random glitch... So convenient and cleverly triggered at some point that it has to be "on purpose"...

Report those mofos, how can we still find hackers/cheaters at this point in this game ? So long after the release ? Get your stuff together Trion, do some real investigations, and permaban those guys...

In advance, in the interest of everyone, thank you.

Interesting. Anyone I would know, or another no-name?

Is there some kind of... shield variant out there we might be overlooking? Damage resistance on shield break or something?

There is, in theory, a combination of perks, equipment and situations that can make you gain a 100%+ DR

    - Thick Skin 50% after shield breaks
    - Rear Guard 30% from behind
    - Fortified Stance 15% while standing still
    - XP Mastery on weapon : DR while Reloading 12%
    - ARK Fortifier Shield : 10% while standing still
    - Cellular Armor 6%

It is an extreme case, but if you meet all the requirements, you can in theory, and for 3 seconds only, be invulnerable (if your are hit from behind, while standing still and reloading). The problem is that meeting all the requirements for that combo is so frakking improbable that it is practically impossible (even if some requirements are optional)... You'd have better chances playing the National Lottery.

And if you look closely in Notturno's vid, you'll see that the only Perks that can apply to the guy are Thick Skin and Cellular Armor with possibly the DR while reloading if his weapon has such an XP roll. No Rear Guard, no Fortified Stance, no Fortifier Shield (they don't exist in blue, to my knowledge). Which means, in the best case scenario 68% DR. Very far from the 90% the guy seems to have.
Too bad, it had such a great potential.

You have the data in my post, the other player's name I can private message if you're really curious. Just drop me a PM and I'll detail it.

The average player, as I mentioned in my above post, takes approximately 56 damage with a body shot from a no falloff Tachmag. The shield glitchers are taking about 12 damage. The average player is essentially sitting on a 56% damage resistance (50% Thick Skinned, 6% Cellular Armor). The glitched/cheating players are at over 90% resistance - this is a 35%+ disparity that cannot be accounted for in that situation.

Even with the additional damage absorption perks:
    • Thick Skinned: 50% on shield break.
    • Cellular Armor: 6% resistance.
    • Fortified Stance: 15% while standing still.
    • Hunker Down: 9% while crouched.
    • Detachment: 12% after a kill

All of these bonuses add up to 94% resistance with very specific bonuses. In the above video, only two perks were active (TS and CA). Point being, these perks could not all be triggered in the above video - unless there's a way discovered to specifically trigger these all at once.

Point being, there's no way to legitimately achieve this resistance level. There's something fishy going on, and Dracian's anecdotal evidence suggests that this is something Trion labels as cheating. I'm willing to believe him, it sure doesn't seem random or accidental. There's only two people I've seen who have this, and it's a regular occurrence.

With the limited number of people PVP playing consistently to keep running into cheaters like this is disgusting.

I also think the BMG is more bugged then what has been made known too. I am pretty sure they can somehow see cloakers with it, but I am not really sure how to prove it.

Trion is more interested in shutting down conversation on this issue than addressing it. My post with evidence of the bug and the user's loadout was deleted and I received a warning. I was trying to decipher how people are pulling this off, but apparently it was dubbed "naming and shaming."

The company has zero interest in rectifying the issue. I'm pretty upset that I cannot discuss an issue they are not addressing.

They had to eventually say something since I've seen posts naming people for over month. Sucks that they had to catch your post first. I don't remember the load out though, but if you can list it in text without his name there is no way that should be a problem.

I encountered this so called invul-thingy all the time when im on shadowars .. yesterday for example... i engaged a guy and unloaded a full mag on a guy right in front of me and did not even hit him... as if he had some kind of force field on him that prevents him from getting hit. And dont tell me i was aiming bad... im using a VOT Blast Riffle - his healfh and his shield did not move in any way... nor did i see a single dmg number poping up... but when i switched to the guy next to him everything was fine...

also i was constantly attacked by another guy but couldnt even see where he was . but i saw the shots coming from all over the place. this game is totaly ****ed up....

Yup. I decided to hop onto Shadow Wars to see if it counted for the "capture 20 points" Echelon weekly (it doesn't). Ran into a fellow with the damage resistance (11-12 dmg per bullet from my tachmag). He basically just bunny hops towards you in a straight line and really not that good as I was able to kill him a few times. Didn't see anything weird with his loadout but if someone else does, feel free to enlighten us.
