97% damage resistance ? 100% damage resistance ? Really ?

This damage absorption issue has been declared legitimate, players abusing it are not going to be banned for it.

I'm working towards figuring out what specifically causes it, and I'll go ahead and include it in my PvP guide once I get some solid information so we can all be invincible together.

Yeah I'm 99% sure he doesn't understand what the specific issue you were referring to is.

Finally, no perks in common with the ones you catched, Notturno. Do you remember what shield they were using ? This one was using a Rebel Regenerator II D (grenade is a Fragnova Pro52-Z). And IIRC, the second one was using a Rebel too, though it may have been a Respark, can't be sure. The only thing I'm sure is that it was a Grenadier shield.

It looks like Rear Guard is also a common perk among all the posted loadouts but not sure it matters (who doesn't use it in PvP anyways?). It's also possible the glitch could be "turned on" via another loadout and persisted for the entire game session.

Another theory is that, since the VOT Pulsers shown are purple or orange, the "take X% less damage while reloading" mastery bonus could be the thing that's being exploited. Couple that with the possibility of canceling the reloading animation somehow (just like you can cancel the charge blade swing animation... this exploit was seen by someone else in the same clan as some of the reported glitch abusers) and maybe a "stacking" bug for the effect. When the abusers fire their VOT Pulsers do you notice any blipping of the fire rate? (like fire-reload-cancel-fire kind of pattern)

Notturno, why didn't you ask him in the livestream about specific exploits, like the godmode exploit? His response was directed at exploits in general, and I could see his point that it wouldn't be fair to ban players who exploit inadvertently. But the godmode exploit is not something that players are doing accidentally, and it's completely ruining PvP. I don't think he's aware of that specific exploit, or how players are intentionally abusing it.

Every single one of them has Vot Pulsers. Thats weird. Most people use tacmags.

Very unlikely : my VOT Fragger has that weapon mastery, and yet, I have never been able to do anything like that when using it.

Nope, if you look closely, the first one in Notturno's album doesn't have it. And the persistent glitch even if you change loadout doesn't work : on one of my vids, I am confronted multiple times with one of the glitcher (in the same Shadow War, ofc) : the first time he's afflicted by the glitch while the three other times, he's normal, no shady damage reduction happening.
