Slow patch download

what doesn't make sense is why they couldn't just use the beta client to begin with. I understand Alpha to Beta non-compliant but it wouldn't have been a big deal to patch over the beta client instead of requiring another 10g download. Speed isn't the issue. Its the constant restarting of the download that is pissing me off.

So agreed this is what happened in the beta to me.Redownloaded like 8 times. If your router got any security what so ever the resume dose not work. I set mine to DMZ. but you can port forward like macdeath suggests.

Already forwarded ports and have disabled what security measures my router utilizes to no avail.

I just got .18 (pathetic but this is what I did http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windo...menu-in-vista/ and took ownership.

I would appreciate if some light was shed on this issue as well. Downloading at .12mb/s at the moment. It's painful to see the time remaining, makes it seem as if I will not be playing any time soon...

I wish. I've got like 3-4 MB left and it throttled itself back to 0.04 mb/s. It's after midnight. LET ME PLAY.

well iw as sitting at like .15mbs for a good 2 hours or so and then out of no where it jumped up in speed gradually over an hour i went from that to about .85mbs now im flowing at a solid 1.20+ mbs

Im pretty stoked for you. Been as sub-.20 mb/s for over 5 hours.

im sure they are aware of the problem but with ti being late and official launch a bit away im sure they are already working hard and comming up with a solution , also who knows it could be fixed in an hour or so i can only hope for those who are stuck with the crappy d/l speed but cheers im done and the game is ready to launch hope to see you guys in game soon :0
