I've seen this posted a few places, anyone know if it breaches the End User Agreement? I checked it out of curiosity and while the site does ask you to install some add-on crap you can just cancel that and go straight to the torrent. The torrent certainly has the correct (uninfected?!?) files ....... I really think this is the best decision, 4 days wait for me is a long long time.Originally Posted by Tr3nch

I think 52 is part of the whole, just a separate folder.Oh my, I got to just under 10GB (Bundle 51), then it said patch failed and now it looks like it is downloading a new patch that is 12GB bundle 52. This is somewhat painful.
I know you mean well but the torrent takes about as long as the official client.
Once my 51 folder became out of date. The 52 patch, now continuously resets after about 20% in and my DL speed is about normal but every time it gets about 20mins worth of downloading it resets as if it never downloaded that 20%. Quite fun and amusing. I do enjoy not playing a game.
server loads gonna be really high since so many peoples patchers keep restarting the dl, im on my 7th attempted download now, wish me luck!..ofc they probably patch a squirrel into the world and then my patcher will break and want to restart again.
surely its not difficult to make or fix the launchers ability to resume properly, lots of games have issues on release but this shouldnt occur and not for this long a time period.
difference being that patcher will keep restarting your dl and the torrent wont xD
Does the launch build torrent still work? I mean after i downloaded it through torrent and I copy over to the patcher folder. Does the patcher remove the files and redownload everything?
Sadly I wish that were the case, but I deleted the manifest from 51 and it rebuilt and checked the files downloaded then said a full recovery was required and started to download 52 again with the exact same filesize.
Funny thing is I copied the entire directory over to another HD yesterday just in case and simply restoring that kicks 52 back into a new download. It seems it is forcing a new update (full client download).
I have given up as I can't keep downloading all this data with no end result, so I will wait for a fix.
I'm downloading the game since 2 days now and I was at the end ( like 4h left ) and a new patch is commung wich download the whole game AGAIN ? OMG TrionWorld stop that **** please, everybody don't have a great connection !!!!
Had the same issue, nearly broke down when the download reset. I recommend getting the torrent and keeping that as a backup until Trion can sort its downloader out.
