I am having the same issue with my download. First it starts off at around 2.0 mb/sec then about 75% in to it the DL slows to around .02-.05 and at some point while while I'm at work or sleeping and not able to monitor it the DL just stops. My request is simple, you have my money and I would like to access the game after work tonight. If this doesnt happen I will have my money back, if I have to call the bank and do my first ever charge back, so be it.
I keep having to re-patch the game everytime I load it back up (Xbox). Has anyone got any tips on which files to delete so that i dont clog my hard drive up with repeated patches that are redundant?
Watching these patch updates is just painful... I think I've sat through about 8 patch downloading screens... I just want to play the damn game!
On the patch text should at least tell us what change the patch, not just the Wellcome to Defiance;;
Al least let us know if there is a new patch and what have change, like every others game do.
AND PLZ FIX THE DAM SPEED FROM DOWNLOAD PATCH.
I put my PS3 disc in at 9pm last night, and as of 9am this morning, it's still "patching". That is after 3 or 4 critical errors messages, of course. I'm patient, though. The way I see it, if it doesn't work by Friday, I'll take that as a sign from the MMO gods that I have been spared a life of sleepless nights and a pissed off wife.![]()
Let me preface this post by saying I am NOT trying to defend the patcher... OK
What some have noticed is that if your router's security is ANYTHING higher than low, the patcher will NOT resume. So, a workaround until/unless the patcher goddess changes how it works is to set your security to low.

Trion, please answer us. I already have a bad taste in my mouth, if I have to get a refund I likely wont watch the show either.
Oh c'mon. That's a bit extreme, no?
And where are you demanding these "refunds" from, anyway? At what point did Gamestop/Bestbuy/Target/whoever start letting folks return opened media discs?!
Stop being a tool. If the product cant even download why should I just let them keep my cash? Plus it was digital purchase. You know what they say about making assumptions.
