Now I wasn't expecting to be able to log in for another 4 hours or so, but my friend has managed it yet I cannot log in.

chances are hes logged into NA not EU, NA is up for some reason

Possibly you're correct though as I switched to NA servers and I got straight in.

Why is the American server up early but not the European one?

I'm in european server and playing and my friend cant log in into EU servers, seem to be a lottery to play now XD

Anyone else see the irony in the american servers opening around the europeans midnight, while europeans in general are stuck waiting ? -.-

Due to the nature of the game it really dosn't bother me THAT much..
