    Scrip VS. salvage

    is it just me or is scrip totally undervalued. I mean you get 30 to 80 salvage pickups but only like 1 to 5 in scrip. and with the vendors selling mod synergies its hard to earn scrip. Anyone else feeling the bite of mod shopping and low scrip or do I just fail to comprehend?

    Selling weapons, shields, and grenades instead of salvaging them will generate the bulk of your scrip if you are looking to gain it quick. A combination of Arkfalls, Sieges, and Arenas can net you some fairly quickly.

    Yeah I wouldn't mind seeing the vendors pay more. Some of those mods cost 10k and that's totally not worth it considering I'm going to max out that gun faster than it would take me to earn the 40k it would cost for 4 mods.

    Once you buy the 4 mods you can always retrieve them. Weapons are plentiful so buy the mods you want and destroy the weapon if you want them in a new one.

    Agree completely. With a good stash of weapons (the whole idea), it takes 4 times that number of mods to build 'em out. That's 40K scrip per weapon, for the mods which are On Sale! The only way I've been able to solve this is to 1) force myself to use only keycodes from arkfalls to purchase lock boxes, 2) use the extra arkfall cash for resetting weapon masteries when necessary, 3) and sell the extras at vendors to have enough scrip for mods (and remember, EVERY purchase of keycodes or lock boxes, also require scrip!).

    The changes have made systems absolutely necessary. Very good point!

    Every time when you do an arkfall, a side missions/random events/missions like "Bolinas", "Diablo station", "mines" etc. you get a round sum both, experience points and scrips, but no salvage, so it compensates values a bit (I think undervalued is rather too strong word). Some of them gives keycodes as well. You can decide what you will do with drop -> salvage or scrips.

    Rampages, trials are also good source of scrips (and, if I remember correctly, some salvage). There is no problem with getting scrips in the game.

    I'm happy with price of mods, finally I can feel that scrip got some value and sometimes I have to think twice, before I buy something. And so it should be.

    Lost kittens should look out for stray mountain dogs...

    Its pretty simple to me, if your leveling a skill don't mod the weapon. mod weapons you plan on keeping.
    or if you just have to mod the weapon use reset mastery.

    Im not saying the prices are over done. im just stating that salvage is not balanced compared to scrip. one pickup of 80 salvage (which is pretty average) gets you 2 mod slots on a weapon easy. why not make scrip the same amount as salvage on average pickup?
