    When the game came out whoever was in charge at the time kept saying that they were shooting for a B movie company. They know they are not some sort of AAA game developer.

    I figured I'll go back to Team Fortress 2 and play that for a bit. It's far more stable and at least I'm not getting kicked every minute :/

    Good point. 24x7 server monitoring IS a robot's job. Why don't you have that robot? It's dirt cheap.

    And if their noc doesn't have the juice, or SOMEbody's emergency phone number, to alert the higher echelon that there's a problem that somebody needs to address, then somebody dropped the ball on the plan.

    If a higher echelon person in the company has to be alerted to a problem for any sort of attention, odds are the problem is important enough that sooner is better than later.

    I love the game.
    I want to play it for a long time into the future.

    If/when enough people bail out - I can't play. You getting the confidence of the player base that you're in this for 'us', and the long haul for all concerned is in our combined best interests.
    These are just my opinions.
    I have lots of opinions.
    Some of them, on occasion, people have agreed with.
    I do not trust those people.

    There should be a program in their servers that when they start malfunctioning they auto-reboot... if my little 200 dollar laptop has the capability a huge mass player server should too...

    Your 24 hour noc is swell. They answer the phones, they don't communicate. And lately there's much stuff they don't handle anymore, so we can't get issues handled. They don't fix stuff. When your customer base is sure that your company shuts the lights off at 4PM on Friday afternoon and wont be back before coffee on Monday morning, YOU have the image and performance problem, not us.
    Apologies that I wasn't specific enough. I meant Community. We have 24/7 groups - I just don't run 'em.

    Happened to me too... then I quit and re-tried and my character was back. Once I logged in I was able to play a few minutes before they booted me out again. I really like playing this game... so why wont they let me???

    So is it still not a good idea to give more money to Trion? It seems that with this DLC things are even worse. Am I getting the right idea?
