Interviews with Dahanese and OverloadUT at PAX Prime

    Hey Everyone,

I wanted to share these two interviews that I recorded with Dahanese and OverloadUT and PAX Prime.

Now these aren't your typical game related interview. With the Twitch livestream giving out some game information I wanted to focus on the people behind the forum names that we see.

You can find Audio Version of these interviews at defiancereporter.com

We'll make sure to have them on the show soon, as we have tons of game related questions to ask them, so keep an eye out for those episodes!

    Thanks everyone. See you in-game!

These were very good interviews, thanks Chris. Some of the interesting bits for me was the DOS game, Payday 2 and the dog . Didn't realize they are going to have to translate Archeage themselves, hopefully they have enough translators, that is going to be a lot of work for them, hehehe.

I can relate to Greg's background, I too started my business career as an engineer and later moved into marketing. When I was a kid, I wanted to do three things when I grew up. I wanted to be a Marine, a cowboy and an engineer. I did all three but moved on from each. I think EVERYONE should take a chance on their childhood dreams but also be prepared to move on when it's obvious that it's no longer a good fit.

My last job as an engineer, I was a programmer in an IBM development group making a part of an Operating System, I was the world's leading expert on a small part of the system, I think there were less than 10 people in the world were I could have a meaningful adult-to-adult conversation about my speciality... and I enjoyed talking about work!

So I moved into marketing where I was expected to know a little bit about a LOT of things, just the opposite of my engineering days and I was PAID to talk about computer stuff! I loved it and had found my career choice.

"functioning" is an abstract term used under the assumption and conclusion of the "reader" and not to be taken and announced as the "writer's" definition.
