Whatever Trion Worlds is doing right now, it's wrong.
Chat fixes can't wait. Period. This needed to be fixed yesterday.
I'm sure you're all aware but for those who aren't any broadcast sent through chat can only be read when the large chat window is open. This means you can't receive, or even be aware of, chat while playing the game.
This is horrendous.
Not only is basic communication impossible at this point but this is starting to have some pretty negative effects on clan recruiting and I'm sure not alone with that.
The 47th recruits in game. A lot. We spam recruiting adverts at arkfalls and sieges, we personally talk to people we meet, we keep an eye on PUGers in co-ops and PvP, et cetera. Our recruiting thread might have damn near 30k views but realistically it only pulls in 3-4 recruits per week. In-game recruiting was pulling around 2 per day.
That's all gone. And this is affecting every clan across all platforms.
This is extremely important to fix not just for the social aspect but players in clans are far more likely to continue playing the game because they form relationships with other players. Friends are made, there are organized clan events, frustrating things about the game are explained, certain content becomes more accessible, et cetera.
The game explains virtually nothing in regards to mechanics so players filling in other players on stuff, like what the difference between a [4] synergy set and a [2]synergy set, is paramount to the full experience. This game doesn't even let players know that a mastered weapon won't earn them any skill XP. All of this is explained only by other players.
Please TW, y'all gotta rectify this NOW. Nothing else is more important, least of all DLC2.
