Someone Tell Me This: About Oranges(not fruit)/Legendary-Concerning grenades/shields

i want to know if first of all if there is any ego liability on getting legend grenades or shields...what was your lowest ego when you got one,the other,or both??? how low were you,or i guess how high was your rating when you finally got your first ones. i have never received a grenade or shield yet,only tons of weapons.

You can get Orange Shields or Grenades at any level. It's just that Orange Shields and Grenades seem to be a little more rare than Weapons.

I can attest to that. I'm over 4000, have been playing since launch and I've never gotten an orange grenade or shield. Never gotten an orange AR, LMG or SMG either for that matter, but I've gotten around 20 orange grenade lobbers, rocket launchers and infectors, several sawed off shotguns, a couple of pistols and one BMG.

first legendary weapon at ego 500. i've had four purple shields so far, no orange.

My first legendary was a shield...also around ego 500. Also have got a couple of rocket launchers and a SMG.

Currently just under 1500 ego rating.
