    Also having this issue, however I am one of the few that seem to grasp the fact that this is Release night, which means a million people are all trying to log into a spankin' new game, of course this causes issues.

    So, to those of you saying things like "This is crap. I paid $60 to be told I am not allowed to play." calm down kid, it's a video game, and 90% of all big titles have launches like this.

    Hopefully it resolves itself very soon, always does.

    It's not that we don't grasp that this is launch. What we grasp is that we bought the product; we expect the company to deliver it. This is not 2002. The line "its launch" doesn't cut it anymore. There have been numerous games, including Trion's own Rift, that had decent launches.

    oh I C, I did apply only pre purchase code (there're 3 codes, pre-purchase, std, and bonus on steam)

    Currently I'm working at office right now, so ... damn can't wait to play

    same issue here, however, I never received codes from Trion, waiting on their response to the ticket I submitted.

    I linked all my codes and followed that guide. It seems like my password isn't even resetting, because when I go to log in to my account, I have to use my previous one.

    I'm getting the same issue.

    I wouldn't be so miffed if the error code was worded a little more carefully. I paid $60 for the game and another $30 for the DLC season pass, yes I am entitled to play DEFIANCE.
    It'd be much more appropriate to have it say that their servers are strained and/or something appears to have gone wrong. Telling someone they're not entitled to something they paid for incites PayPal refunds.

    In all likeliness it's the account servers getting hammered, so when your client asks the account servers for a confirmation it times out. I would assume that your login credentials and your account license flags are not stored in the same object for security reasons, which would explain why it can recognise that your account credentials match, but encounters an error when trying to retrieve your license information.

    So everyone please just chill out and be patient.
    Trion, please word your errors less passive aggressively.
