UK here, same response - used the reset password (using the link received in email) twice now, as well as using the 'Change Password' option on the Defiance website itself... still hasn't changed my password...
Still getting the "not entitled to play" crap..
From what I've read it's just taking time for peoples passwords to change (as this is what Trion have suggested to do in their support page)

Just a shame I have to wait another 5 hours for their live chat to come online =/

After resetting, it took around 30m or so before my account was able to connect. Just wanted to confirm that the password reset worked for me - it just took a while.

Same problem as all you guys.
I have 3 codes from my Steam pre-order and have put them all in and also changed my password.
I have only just put in the pre order code but after doing so it let me into the launcher but is saying game not available until 8am.
I'm UK so guessing that's US time and not for us hahahaha.
Will keep trying. To all those moaning about not being able to play for something you have paid for blah blah blah give it time. It's still launch day and in the VERY early hours of it. All game start like this and just think how slow it is going to be when hundreds of thousands of players all want in at the same time.

I just changed my password, no go, changed it back, no go, went and watched some TV and came back and its working

Just log into your Trion account and change your password. You can even change it to the one you already have.

This worked for me
