The more charge blades in circulation, the more color mods they can sell for bits. Some people probably didn't want to mod the green and blue swords and wanted the purple and orange ones but probably gave up grinding (or didn't want to grind) and changed their actions, thus limiting those swords in circulation. Now, more purple and orange swords in circulation, more chances of people wanting to customize the color (more money for Trion).

My surge bolter says Semi Auto on the item card? It's the Particle Repeater that lists Bolt action when it's really a Semi Auto too...
