So, While playing defiance in-game. I was doing a deal with someone *Can't name him, but just listen to detail so he doesn't get you too * So I was trading him my VOT Bolter for 125k, It was very reasonable especially considering it has assassin on it, But anyways back to the point... While in the trade I was just about to hit accept and then boom he removes his script and tries to get me, He said "Oh sorry didn't mean to do that wrong button etc..."
So I'm like yeah, Whatever okay... And attempt to trade him again this time he only puts in 12.5k script and tries to play it off again as being a mistake. And then for the last time , He removed the script again still attempting to get my gun. Now i didn't get scammed by him hence the reason this report isn't in the report section but I would still like to give a fair warning to others.


Before Doing a deal with him make sure you don't fall for the "Oh it was my brother" trick.

naming and shaming is against forum rules both the old one and the new ones (not moderating you just warning you before the mods see) + wouldn't the trading post be a better place to warn people too as a pose too off topic

Thanks for telling me I'll remove his name but i really think people should knows who's a scammer and who's not, But no. I'm not really trading anything so i didn't see it fit for that section.

I agree people should know who scammers are but naming and shaming isn't allowed and more people trade in the trading post than off topic that's why I suggested it

you should be able to name and shame, but its because of the same type of immature people that abused the xbox reporting system that you cant.

We should be able to at least warn people about scams. I have never traded with anyone, and wouldn't know to they can change their end of the deal. So thank you I have an orange wolfhound I'm going to get rid of, and now I know to watch for that.

This is why i only do trades with friends or clanmembers, because they will never scam you.
