For my part, I have always assumed it was Viscerae. Feel free to contradict me
As I said viscera is already a plural word so yes I am contradicting you.

It is plural for viscus. It means the internal organs in the body. So you would not pluralize a word that already means more than one. It would be like saying weapons and trying to mean more than one weapons.

Good call on Scrip @A s0t

Oh, and is it just me, or has Varus said Script, not Scrip on occasion. One instance is in the Explosions 101 and maybe on a side mission?

I know there are NUMEROUS, more important issues we are concerned about than this thread, but, just askin'.
It is very rare that she does. I think I may have heard her say it a total of two times, but she could have said it more--- I tune her out. I think both times were also during emergencies.

Lol, I am lucky I lived in that area, thus know how those places are pronounced. Oh, and thank God that they shortened Mount Tam instead of using its full name (Mount Tamalpais). Oh the hilarity that would have been.

    Also,
    Gren-a-deer not grenade-er
    Mash-een-ist not Mash-in-ist
    Can-non-eer not Can-ee-nur
Carbine can be pronounced both as Carb-ine or carb-een. Both are correct
Sie-fon, and can be spelled as syphon, siphon or cyphon as there really is not a correct Romanized way to spell it (it's Greek)
Gur-ill-a not Go-rill-a. A gorilla is an animal, a guerilla refers to a person
    Eve-is-er-a-tore not eve-isk-er-a-tur
    Tack-ee-on not tash-ee-on

I feel so much better now

bee-seh-rah. No /v/ or /I/ in Japanese so it tends to be pronounced as the bilabial voiced ビ in the first set.

Almost the same in Arabic. There is no V so it would also use the letter ب which is baa (or B). However, an Arabic speaker would look at it and pronounce it Bee-skr-aa keeping the K sound and omitting the soft E. An Arabic speaker who knew the K was silent would transliterate it Bee-sr-aa

My family comes from Canada-so my mother would have probably agreed with the pronuciation-having had to take Latin in school. When I was in high school, I was one of 13 students who signed up for the Latin elective class so it was canceled. And it would seem really odd to go around saying "I had a viskeral reaction". But as an older person I've also been able to witness language change--Uranus and harassment are just two words. Truthiness is another.

It's scrip not script, immunizer not immuniziner-as one guy kept saying, Mare-in not morin, sossaleeto and not soselto, mu dare ah and not madra, volj and not volgh, shon doo and not shon duh, and more.
:P Well, I am also Canadian, so we have that in common. My mother is British though, so she may have just learned it super differently. I agree with you on the living language point however.
