Ha. I was going to point out that in Arabic pronunciations can often be confusing, even when from the same country. One version of door is baab while another clan may say beeb-at least that's the case in Lebanon where my Arabic language teacher was from but I guess it all depends on the vowel notations. I don't remember too much (long time ago and I only had a few lessons).

Its Vis-ser-a as you can heard in the data recorder A Children's Story.

Also its Votan, not Voltan. So many get that wrong.

You are correct, each area tends to have it's own dialects. Within those dialects, they can also develop letters not commonly used in standard Arabic (a good example of this is in Iraq). I speak fluent Fus-ha (or Literary Arabic aka newscaster Arabic) but am also knowledgeable in Egyptian, Syrian, and Levantine as most of my teachers were from those areas. I had a Moroccan teacher once, made me want to bash my head in because I barely understood anything he was saying (as Moroccan uses a lot of French influence).

On a side note, there was a guy on the livestream this past Friday who asked Dahanese if he could speak Arabic. I was excited as all the Arabic I get to see or hear now comes from news channels. The very first thing he said made me want to cringe, lol. He said Allahu akhbar. While I understood what he was trying to say (God is great, or God is the greatest, or the great God as all can be translated) what he actually said was God is greater. Being a literary linguist, I wanted to reach through the computer and slap him... mainly cuz there was no topic he was comparing to. What he should have said is Allah al-akhbar (which translates like the above parenthesis).

I should have known, whenever someone on a forum or website that is mostly English asks to speak Arabic, they are usually trying to spout some religious stuff instead of something on topic with the current matter being discussed.

It's like Trion talking about the grenade change and me saying "ahabu djaaj!" (I love chicken)

I do think that Trick (I mean no disrespect) speaks in a different language from me but it may be more computerese than anything else. I think I have a passing intelligence but it was difficult to get through what he was saying. That's not doing them any favors-saying that grenade ammo is not a thing and all that. So, your point is well-taken and I so wanted him to not state made up reasons that no one ever talked about and get to the bottom line. What I'm left with is scrip sink-that's the only thing that made sense (for them and not for me). So they could have been saying I love chicken in all of that, or talking about the weather-when what they meant was scrip sink. And all I heard was lag and more lag and lack of choice and more lag.
