Mods losing their synergies

hi, still learning how all this works. what exactly do you mean that yor weapon lights up if it's fully modded with the same synergy. i apologize if it's a dumb question. thanks for the help

It's harder to explain now because its not working right, at all.
But when the correct synergy mod is installed (4 banger synergy) it is supposed to turn the the synergy description from grey to lit up white.

Thanks for the help! So even tho I can't see the synergy on retrieved mods, they are still there then, correct?
I also was confused about matching synergy weapons on my load out, do they have to match to activate anything or can I have 2 different synergy weapons on my load out and their respective synergy activated as long as they are fully modded with the correct synergy?
