Actually, there has been some in the $20-$30 range. CoD is ALWAYS $49.99 tho.

Look , i like the game and everything but $60 is just too much..
A f2p + in-game paid items or even just $10-20 + paid items would look accessible and attract a lot of people and make a good game , but at $60 i think that a lot of people will just say no.

Well, actually that is about what GW2 costs and it is doing ok. Considering that for many years you had to buy the game and then keep buying the game with a monthly sub this is a much better option. Frankly its not really any worse then buying Skyrim, Mass Effect, or any of those other games lately.

That said i'm not to keen on buying or getting a pre-order of ANYTHING until I hear more of this dlc plan. To many companies lately have been seeing dlc as a way to gouge players and i'm frankly sick of it. So even if that means losing out on a good deal Trion, I need to know more on what the business plan is. You don't charge large sums of money in a pre-order THEN tell your customers how the system works. That this is exactly what i'm seeing is making us go straight past flags into roaring red klaxons.
