    Hello all

I'm Andy 32, 33 on February 8th but that we will never mention again.
Been playing games since I was 5-6 years old, back then it was those nice pixel adventures or the true turn based rpg's . Been mainly in to mmo's since -01, and I play almost every day even if it's just for a few minutes. I am never hardcore in any game, I like to play on my own terms and to take my time and enjoy the games to the fullest. Which makes me kind of slow to reach the top levels in the ordinary mmo's .
Oh, and I suck at shooters, 'cause I am no shooter player in any way. This will actually be the first shooter I've ever bought, got addicted after 10 mins last weekend. Thanks Trion .

Sorry for the wall of text, hopefully it didn't crit anyone.
Happy to be here and looking forward to be playing with you guys in the near future .

    Hey all,

I'm doc, or Kevin when being reprimanded. I'm older and less MMO experienced than the bulk here. Last MMO was Earth and Beyond Beta. I'm more of a day to day console gamer. XBOX is my current with PS3 in the wings. Just upgraded the entertainment part of the "cave" and am looking forward to trying out Defiance.
I have to jockey for position in front of the big screen (one XBOX gamer and one Wii gamer in the house) and there's always a project going on to improve the house, make a car run or make the grass greener.
I usually stick to quick "turn'em on, turn'em off" missions or online play to work as stress reduction but think I could get into something a little more enduring. Hope to get a beta invite and see you all in-game.

Elrian, 28 years old from France. Been playing MMOs since Ultima Online but I have a preference for Sci-Fi based games.

Like I said in the french introduction thread shooting bugs with a Bioneedle gun is much cooler than slaying boring goblins with a rusted sword.

Can't wait for the release, I'm sure I'll have tons of fun in Defiance.

    Hey'all! Caios here.

I am an avid gamer, and a huge fan of MMOs and RPGs. In fact I've pretty much played all of the MMOs ever, though rarely for more then a month. ( Heck most of the time I get bored with it after a day. ) I've been a game developer for over 12 years now so I always have reason to check these games out, but very few really catch my interest. So I have very high hopes for this one.

My favorite game of all time is the Mass Effect series ( Go FemShep! ), and my favorite MMO of all time is City of Heroes ( Go Virtue! ). Sad to see both of them end but I kinda see this game as having awesome potential as a sort of hybrid of these two games.

Honestly I love any game that lets you creatively interact with other players in new and interesting ways. I also love shooting things with really big guns, but who doesn't?

I look forward to all the awesome potential of both the game and the show...

Hello folks, my name is Paul - GT: Eskimoletdinov - and im from Liverpool, England. Been an avid gamer for as long as I can remember. I play all different genres of games but do particularly like RPG's. I've never got round to playing a MMO, the closest I got was Diablo II.

I like to embrace all aspects of online gaming, the challenge, competitiveness, fun and sociability, but I can't stand needless abuse.

Well this is me so thanks for reading.

    Hello Everyone,

I feel a little late to the party, but hey better late than never. My in-game name (whenever I can get it) is Kveldulf or just Kvel for short. I'm 24 years old and I live in the U.S. on the west coast with my 2 dogs, bird, and ferret (I had 2 ferrets but one passed away last year).

I've played (and stil play) many mmo's, WoW, EvE, Rift, Terra, Guild Wars, Guild Wars 2, SWTOR, Tabula Rasa, LOTRO, and the list goes on. Mmo's are not the only things I play though. I play a variety of games and genres such as FPS games, RPG's, and RTS games. I've also been apart of a few betas (Terra, GW2, GW, for some examples).

As for this game, I'm truely excited about it. I must admit though that I did lose track of the game after months of only having a little blurb on Trion's game page, then a little video clip, but I am back and raring to go. I must say that I have many questions about the game that I would ask, but I wont because Iam sure the NDA would prevent a lot of the answers. So I shall await the next beta weekend and see for myself. And even after watchig the Twitch stream on friday, or the last half hour of it, I'm even more excited about the game/show.

Normally I'm very quiet and don't post on any games forum, but I have a good feeling about this community, especially after watching the code hunting that's been going on, which I intend to help with and have been burning my retinas on. I've also been trying to work on the alien languages to help with that as well.

Hello all my name is Steven am 28 and from Basildon,Essex,England have been playing games since the days of the spectrum and amiga etc lol. ve played wow, rift, guildwars 1&2 but I would say I am better at shooting games etc rather than mmo's as I am not very good at end game content and prefer exploring and just running around killing things lol this game looks brilliant to me am just not sure whether to get it on pc or xbox or both hmm. I hope to meet some great people to play the game with.
