Jellybean here. I'm 22 out of California and really excited for an exciting mmo shooter. I was in the closed beta for a similar game with a scifi background and since that game never got around to getting published I'm very excited for defiance. Really fascinated by the concept of tying it into a show.

Hello all I am a long time gamer and a huge lore nut. So when i heard about this game crossing over with a TV show I was really excited but then i heard the plot for the game/show and then got REALLY FRACKING EXCITED. I can't wait to see the show and play the game ready for some firefly esq storyline and lore to follow whilst shooting/blowing stuff up. Whats not to love ami right?

I think that is a really nice comparison, I had not thought of that before but SG-World would indeed have had quite a few similarities with Defiance. To be honest, in my mind though there is no way Defiance is going to suffer a similar fate there is a hard deadline: April, heck I wouldn't be surprised if the week internally is already known because I guess Syfy needs to work out their scheduling as well.

To me what this means is that while launch might not hold everything that we would have wished for it will provide a solid core to build the game further on post release. I mean I see no scenario happening where april becomes march and the TV show is already on TV for 1 month. That kinda defeats the entire purpose.

My name is Waleed (22 years old) but everyone calls me Darky am from Oman Middle East and am mainly a console player (PS3 in particular) I like Racing games, Shooters and any MMO on console. Currently am a tester in a closed beta game called DUST 514 its an MMOFPS and it shares a lot of things with Defiance they are by far my top wanted games.

The first time i heard about Defiance 1 year ago i knew it is a game i definitely want to be a part of, the MMO open world shooter is just my thing so i decided to follow this game since and here i am in the official forums.

I came from gaming community called Initiative Gaming we play all sort of games and mostly have fun when we do so, we have other clans/group in our community so you welcome to join us www.initiativegaming.org

I hate introducing myself.

But I am on the Defiance bandwagon and though I didn't end up playing Rift long-term. Defiance is the first SciFi mmo I have ever actually had much interest in. So I'm kind of a newbie in that regard, but I love Sci Fi in it's other forms.

I'm also kind of a forum junkie - I used to be Delith on Rift's forums and went to their HQ once just because I post too much. So here I am, being a groupie and waiting eagerly for the possibility of alpha or beta just like everyone else.
