Ive been watching and reading this site for a long time but I just have never registered, now that we are getting close I decided too. Im an older guy that has been around a long time and have played all kinds of games and mostly shooters, I have played several MMO's and recently have gotten into some RPG's while I wait for Defiance.

I am from Maryland, I work for the Government and I own a gaming forum/website for PS3 and PC filled with the greatest bunch of folks I have ever had the pleasure to game with and know. I am glad to be here and for Defiance.

I've been gaming for years now and have enjoyed it thus far . I never played rift but am aware of it. Actually i take that back. I played until level 11 and then I had to start traveling for work and never got back into it. I'm a family man and have a few children of my own. Hi, I've been gaming since Pong, love RPGs, been looking for something a bit different to the usual. Love the mix in the beta of gunplay and RPG, sort of a cross between Phantasy Star and Borderlands, and the number of Pursuits to pursue should keep me busy for months without having to pay a subscription.

I'm in the UK, on XBox 360, mainly a lone wolf type as I tend to play 24/7 and once I get my mind set on something I want to get it done and go after that goal relentlessly. (I hate AFK, only I'm allowed to do that )

And I love leveling up stuff, so for me Defiance has the right mix of action/RPG/grind. Nice to meet you all, everyone I've met in the Beta version on 360 has been great, so that's a good start.

I've been an MMO player for many, many moons, starting with RPG's that used...( get ready for this!! ) DICE, PAPER, & IMAGINATIONS!....then I moved on to SWG from launch to the day it ended ( and I'll forever despise sony for killing off the best MMO ever created ), then on to STOR ( HUGE, MIND-BLASTING disappointment ) AGE OF CONAN ( outstanding game ), etc, etc.....

I have high hopes for this game, and I very much enjoyed the Beta...I think the marketing ploy of tying it in with a tv series is groundbreaking...we shall see how that plays out...
