READ THIS TO FIX NOT ENTITLED TO PLAY ERROR!! (caps)
If you're getting this error like I was for 2-3hrs I finally fixed it.

Now when you change your password (it will email you a link, click, change etc) once changed if it says your password doesn't match GIVE IT SOME TIME 10-30minutes and it will change and then work. You MUST change the password in this manner and from the link, the regular "Change Password" option from your account will not work.
I kept changing and changing and finally gave up and waiting and then it worked fine for me.
I really hope this helps someone since for some reason Trion does not post this article in the PC Forum. Hope to see you in game feel free to add me later and play (got 2hrs on download) I'll edit this and post my in game name once I'm in, don't want anyone to steal it or it might be taken already! lol.

Please keep this bumped if it works etc post so we can make sure word is spread. I posted this fix in another topic and it has worked for many people so far so help spread the word.

The issue with this to me is that I get a question in which I answer, I know the answer I set, yet it tells me it is incorrect. -_-*

use the reset link, keep trying until the client recognizes your new password. this helps push your account changes (your key) through to the server. This may take multiple PW resets.

i had same prob i download client from trion and had same message pop up.. did password change,apply code still didnt work , i bought game threw steam and waited for install to show up and finally did when i click to install ..click on new icon and type username/ password it work and now installing game....if this helps anybody..but still cant play till 8am >.<

I tried both ways from trion and steam and I get the "NOT ENTITLED TO PLAY ERROR"

changing pass might help, but you need to check with your gamecode what you have put in. If it says pre-order nothing you do will help you since you don't have the game serial. If it says game xxxx then you are good and then it can help you with the pass change / subbing to the news letter.
If only pre-order listed under account you are tough out of luck.
